Voted 'other' because it's what you don't see that's most terrifying. Power of suggestion, but not realised. That way it's all about the bad things that lurk at the back of your own mind, not someone else's.
I voted other - I think the scariest thing is when something ordinary and everyday is turned on it's head and made scary. Um, poor example but the Ring made watching TV scary for ages. But it's not so much the girl that's scary, more the fact that she's coming out of the TV if you know what I mean! :-)
